Circle Gallery artThe icons of Yosemite National Park, the beauty of the Sierra Nevada and the verdant farms of the San Joaquin Valley have inspired countless artists over the years. From paintings  of lush vineyards to stunning photographs of Half Dome, you can find these works of art at galleries and museums throughout Madera County. 

To take it all in, tour the Sierra Art Trail every October. The open-house gallery tour showcases paintings, sculptures, photography and more from artists throughout the region.California's Gateway to Yosemite is also home to the performing arts, with beautiful venues for concerts in the park, the historic Golden Chain Theatre, and big name acts performing everything from music to standup comedy at Chukchansi Gold Resort and Casino.
