Festivals & Celebrations
Indian Festivals
Fall brings more than colorful leaves and nippy air to the southern Yosemite region.
The season of the harvest brings out the "party animal" in the region. Agricultural crops are in the barn, tribal gathering has been completed and now it is time to celebrate the bounty.
Pow Wows, fairs, parades and assorted other festivals dot the calendar of events. Colorful dancers, singers and drummers, decorated floats and bands with cultural food and drink to
boot. Who said fun ended with summer?
