The Ansel Adams Gallery strives to cultivate an aesthetic appreciation and concern for our world by offering visitors a unique variety of books, handcrafts, fine arts, and an extraordinary collection of Ansel Adams original photographs.
We are located in the heart of Yosemite Valley, between the Visitor Center and Post Office, with incredible views of Yosemite Falls, Half Dome, and Glacier Point. Yes, we’re fortunate, and the staff includes climbers, photographers, hikers, dog lovers and generally people who love Yosemite.
The Ansel Adams Gallery is an authorized concessioner of the National Park Service.
Originally named Best’s Studio, the gallery has been operated in Yosemite Valley by the same (Ansel Adams) family since 1902.
