Live Music Concerts In Or Near Yosemite & Madera County

Entertainment/Theater, Food & Wine

There’s a lot to see in and around Yosemite National Park. But as the sun begins to dip towards the horizon, the fun continues in a different fashion… via live music.

Sierra Meadows Concert Series

Every year during the summer months, Sierra Meadows hosts a live concert series featuring bluegrass, rock, blues, country and jazz, typically running through Labor Day. Be sure to come hungry because each of the concerts also features a mouthwatering dinner menu.  You can find more info and purchase tickets for the concerts here.

Live In The Lounge

On various Saturdays throughout the year, the Oakhurst Grill & Whiskey 41 Lounge hosts their “Live in the Lounge” series featuring local and regional musical artists. Starting at 8:30 p.m., you can bask in one of the coolest vibes you’ll experience in Oakhurst while listening to great live music.

Saturday Music By The River

As the name entails, the Queen’s Inn By The River is located next to Nelder Creek and presents a live music series on Saturdays during the warmer months at the Wine Bar & Beer Garden. Just five miles from the Yosemite National Park southern gate, you can sit back, listen to some great music, and enjoy a glass of a wine produced onsite at the Idle Hour Winery or even sip on a cold craft brews (they have an extensive selection).

Grounded Music Series

Coffee, craft ales, wine, and live music… the funky and eclectic Axis Coffee Bar in the Town Center of the new Tesoro Viejo community near Madera, starts the weekends off right every Friday with a live local music showcase called the Grounded Music Series. Simply put, being grounded never sounded better.

Bass Lake Live

There are certain things that really mark the beginning of summer. Some think of opening day for professional baseball. Others enjoy their first picnic of the year. For the Pines Resort at Bass Lake, nothing marks the beginning of those warm days of relaxing than the annual Bass Lake Live Music Series. Formerly known as "Jazz on the Lake", the roughly bi-weekly event is held on The Pines Resort's Gazebo Deck and Lawn area and showcases both local and regional talent performing a wide variety of musical genres.  The fun kicks off Memorial Day weekend and continues on selected Fridays throughout the summer.  The line-up of bands for this summer bands can be found here

You can enjoy and evening of music from the water or the shore!

As the 19th century political figure John A. Logan wrote, “Music’s the medicine of the mind” and to this day it still holds true. Whether it's classical or rock n’ roll, a live music concert provides benefits to your mind AND body as well as your soul. So, on your next trip to our region, be sure to take a gander at our event schedule and see who’s playing as part of a summer concert series. You won’t regret it!
