Teacher Appreciation Reception 2019

We are inviting all teachers to our Teachers Appreciation Reception of 2019 at the Fossil Discovery Center in Chowchilla. There will be wine, hors d'oeuvres, a raffle and free admission with your teachers ID. For more information please contact us at (559) 665-7107.

The museum is located at the Fairmead landfill in Madera County, the site of one of the largest middle-Pleistocene fossil excavations in North America.   The museum showcases the fossilized remains of saber-toothed cats, Colombian Mammoths and other massive animals that once roamed the San Joaquin Valley over 700,000 years ago.
