Snowshoe Yosemite - Badger Pass
Experience the beauty of winter in Yosemite on three-hour snowshoe walks at Badger Pass.
Program Overview: This winter, our naturalists are leading morning and afternoon snowshoe outings at Badger Pass Ski Area (9 am and 1 pm) on Saturdays from December 26 through January 30. Depending on conditions, you’ll spend three hours snowshoeing in this quiet part of the park off Glacier Point Road. Experience the beauty of this tranquil time of year in Yosemite, see how snow and cold temperatures transform the landscape, look and listen for seasonal birds, and learn how diverse animals make it through the Sierra Nevada winter.

COVID-19: We have implemented special safety measures to keep participants and instructors safe during the ongoing pandemic. For example, participants will hike single-file and keep moving to avoid crowding the trail, and instructors will stop to offer interpretation only when there is ample space to stay at least six feet apart. Please review our COVID-19 procedures for details.
