Intimate photography inspired by nature. In times of trouble, nature is solace. Inevitably, flowers bloom around us, blossoms quiver on long stems, and seedlings launch into the wind, recalling the special times and places in our lives, and replenishing the earth.

“Earth Smiles for Me” is a photography exhibit inspired by the words of the Greek poet Horace, the leading Roman lyric poet during the time of Augustus, before the birth of Christ, more than 2000 years ago. The poem expresses a deep passion for a place in the world where the poet hopes to spend eternity.
