La Original Banda El Limon

The history of the band dates back to January 15, 1965, the date it was founded by Don Salvador Lizárraga in the city of Mazatlán, Sinaloa, and today it is the reflection of a great band that, with its trajectory and quality, confirms that regional music mexicana is one of the most powerful genres. La Original Banda El Limón has the privilege of being the first Sinaloan band to mark a new era within its genre, using sound equipment and having a vocalist as a member of the group.

The group has been multi-nominated for major awards and recognitions, obtaining three Latin Grammys, two Texas Awards, the ASCAP Award, the BMI Award, the Billboard Award for Excellence in Regional Mexican Music, among others of no less importance, and today they are the reflection of a great band that with their trajectory and musical quality are worthy representatives of the Mexican regional genre. Currently, the band has 41 record productions achieving high sales in physical and digital format (gathering more than 300,000,000 reproductions between the different digital platforms).
