Romantic Valentine's Date Ideas In Madera County

With Valentine’s Day coming up, chilly weather makes us snuggle up by the fire and long nights are the perfect time to enjoy a romantic dinner. For those looking to escape life's hectic daily routine, here are romantic date ideas in Madera County for you and your sweetheart.

The Pine's Resort at Beautiful Bass Lake is hosting a few crafty (and tasty) workshops for Valentine's Day. What could be more fun than decorating cookies with your Valentine and then making and decorating a heartfelt card? This Cookie Decorating & Card Making Workshop occurs February 11, with three different workshop times to accommodate your busy schedule.

If cookies aren't your favorite, check out the Valentine's Day Card & Puppet Making workshop at The Pine's Resort on February 12! Make Valentine's Day cards and adorable puppets that you can give to your special someone or keep for yourself (we won't tell!).

Break out the glue and bring your honey to Idle Hour Winery & Kitchen's Valentine's Cork Art Workshop on February 13. Space is limited, so make a reservation online to ensure your date of Cork Heart supplies, a glass of wine and access to a delicious grazing table as you craft!

A classic candle lit dinner is always a hit for the holiday of love. These restaurants and wineries of Madera County have created romantic ambiance, tasty dishes and scrumptious wine pairings to elevate your Valentine's Dinner.

For couples looking to celebrate this weekend, Toca Madera Winery is hosting a very special Valentine's Dinner on February 11. Imagine enjoying a delicious four-course dinner by Braised Catering, paired with a guided tasting from the Winemaker, Shayne Vetter, while listening to the sweet serenades of Merlinda Espinosa. This is sure to be a great date!

Chef Chris and Chef Ethan from The Elderberry House are creating a very special aphrodisiac inspired tasting menu to spice up your Valentine's Day plans. What could be more romantic than enjoying oysters with rose mignonette and pink peppercorns by candle light?

Idle Hour Winery & Kitchen is hosting a Sweetheart Brunch Sunday, February 12, complete with classic eggs benedict and mixed berry mimosas to make your weekend more effervescent. If brunch isn't for you, make sure to reserve a table at their romantic Valentine's Day dinner service on February 14. Figs with crispy bacon and balsamic drizzle and filet mignon with bone marrow butter is sure to impress your date!

Dine with lakefront views of beautiful Bass Lake and enjoy a menu prepared by the Executive Chef Johnathan Frabotta at Ducey's on the Lake this Valentine's Day. With your choice of a Sunset Special 3-course menu or a romantic 4-course menu, sit back, relax with your beloved and enjoy this tasty date.

Duceys On The Lake at The Pines Resort, Bass Lake CA

At Yosemite Wine Tails, indulge in a romantic 5-course wine paired dinner prepared by local chef and world renowned Sake Sommelier, Chef Yugi Matsumoto. This elegant event is sure to delight your palate and enhance your evening. No Valentine this year? Fret not! Singles are also welcome to enjoy this romantic evening at an elegant reserved table.

Tenaya at Yosemite has you covered for couples celebrating any day between February 10 - 14 at Jackalope's Bar and Grill! This romantic plated dinner takes you through the stages of your relationship, but even more delicious with dishes including baked brie and strawberry jam, seared salmon or grilled filet and a scrumptious New York style cheesecake.
