Having a great working relationship with vendors is one of the most important things an event planner can offer.  Combine that with knowing the ins and outs of their services and you have the recipe for a successful event.  I know what most vendors are dealing with and what problems can arise.  I spent over ten years on the vendor side of weddings and events as a DJ, KJ, catering manager, cake decorator and florist. This experience helps me to catch details that others may overlook.  Knowing what vendors are dealing with  also allows me to maintain great working relations.

As a planner that has worked in multiple parts of the wedding and event spectrum,  I know what to expect from vendors, but most importantly, I know what they expect from me.
