Day Hike: Day of the Woodpecker

Yosemite is home to more species of woodpeckers than any comparable area in the United States, making it an ideal destination for bird enthusiasts. Participants are invited to join an experienced naturalist for a spring day exploring Yosemite Valley and the surrounding areas in search of these remarkable birds. The group travels to a variety of elevations both within and just outside the park, increasing opportunities to observe Yosemite’s diverse woodpecker species.


Registration: $112

Experience Level: Easy

Hiking: 4-5 Miles
