Two-Day Hike: Intro to Birding

Saturday and Sunday, April 25th and 26th; 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM

in Yosemite Valley, Yosemite National Park

During this two-day event, guests will look and listen for the many birds that make their year-round or seasonal homes in the park — from swifts and woodpeckers to orioles and blackbirds. A naturalist guide will lead casual hikes in the Valley, pointing out the telltale songs and signs of different bird species and explaining the important roles they play in the Yosemite ecosystem. While observing beautiful birds through binoculars and listening for their spring songs, participants may also enjoy a waterfall or two.
