2nd Annual Camel Safety & Handling Workshop

Friday, April 17th; 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM

Patient Feather Ranch Rescue

Patient Feather Ranch Rescue invites guests to the 2nd Annual Camel Safety & Handling Workshop, a hands-on training designed to help participants handle camels safely and confidently.

Led by Doug Baum, founder of Texas Camel Corps, this interactive workshop features live camels on site and supervised practice in safe, humane handling techniques. Participants will learn camel behavior and body language, safe approach, and stress reduction methods for exams and transport.

Who should attend: Animal enthusiasts, veterinarians, vet students/techs, FFA students, and zoo, livestock, or sanctuary personnel. 

No experience required.

$50 per person | Vet & FFA Students: $10
