House Concerts at Coolwater Ranch near Yosemite
What began as a whim is now a blip on the cultural oscilloscope of the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Situated on 80 acres near Yosemite National Park in California, Coolwater Ranch showcases the finest in acoustic music concerts. Many of the world’s greatest acoustic musicians have performed at Coolwater Ranch, some of whom have won Grammys, many who have been nominated, and a few who have played solo shows at Carnegie Hall. The Coolwater Series has been touted as one of the best in the country by the likes of Pierre Bensusan, Preston Reed, Peter Lang, Mike Dowling, Pat Donohue and Tony Furtado. Concerts at the ranch are small, not-for-profit (an understatement!) social events attended by about 40 friends, neighbors and family. About 20 additional seats are available by arrangement for interested listeners. Please call Robin at 559-760-1134 for information.
