Sierra Vista Scenic Byway Association

NELDER GROVE OF GIANT SEQUOIAS is open! Note - the SHADOW OF THE GIANTS TRAIL remains closed.

The Sierra Vista Scenic Byway is a nearly 100-mile journey through the Sierra National Forest with breathtaking panoramas, unique rock formations, and even a charming general store with mouthwatering hamburgers and amazing pie. Starting at a little over 3300 feet above sea level, the byway makes its way past historic cabins, stands of giant sequoias, and iconic landmarks as it climbs to over 7300 feet.

Don't miss highlights such as the Nelder Grove of Giant Sequoia, Globe Rock, Jesse Ross Cabin, Mile High Vista, Mammoth Pool, Eagle Beaks. In addition to the main 10 stops, expand your exploration to include some of the Byway's many side trips, including the Exact Center of California, Fresno Dome, the Jones Store.
