Dr. Julia Parker, a renowned Miwok-Paiute basket weaver and longtime Yosemite cultural demonstrator, has spent more than 60 years sharing Native American history and traditions. In this three-day Yosemite Valley workshop, she and her daughter, Lucy, guide participants through traditional basket-weaving techniques and storytelling. All materials are provided, and guests take home their own handmade basket.
