Madera County Museum Open House

 The Museum is celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Madera County Historical Society, which created the Museum in 1974 inside the old Madera County Courthouse. 

The Museum now has two dozen rooms with historical memorabilia and photos, and features 21,000 curated items. The Old Courthouse is 125 years old and is on the National Register of Historic Places. It is at 210 W. Yosemite Avenue in Madera.
