IMPORTANT UPDATE - DUE TO IMPASSABLE ROADS
THE FRESNO DOME HIKE WILL BE TEMPORARILY POSTPONED
Brenda Negley will be leading a free guided hike of Fresno Dome, on May 17th.
Most think this would be a hike of many miles, the good news is that it is about a one mile, easy to moderate walk from the trailhead to the top (with around 320 feet of elevation gain).
The top of the rock monolith can be easily climbed in 20-30 minutes without undue effort.
Some visitors to Fresno Dome may not have explored the other trails along the dome, so Brenda will also introduce two short trails to see even more of the beauty near the dome.

Meet at the Oakhurst Visitor Center by 8:15 am. We will have a short talk, and leave promptly by 8:30. If anyone wants to carpool there will be a place to park nearby.
