Globe Rock Guided Tour with Brenda Negley & Tom Burdette

Brenda Negley will be leading a free guided tour of Fresno Dome, on June 21st.

This tour will consist of Two parts.

Part 1: The first portion will include Tom Burdette, a retired scientist with the USGS, who will be sharing his knowledge of Globe Rock (the question of whether it is a giant petrified dinosaur egg will finally be laid to rest...). Brenda Negley will also be discussing Globe Rock and sharing some surprises in the area.

Part 2: This is for those that would like to stay and join Brenda on a stroll along a nearby level road to smell the air, enjoy the views, perhaps see some plants, flowers and trees you perhaps may not have seen before. Brenda also enjoys the granite boulders. You may see the wonder in them as well.

Meet at the Oakhurst Visitor Center by 8:15 am. We'll leave promptly by 8:30. If anyone wants to carpool there will be a place to park nearby.
