Step into the stories of California’s past with a one-hour guided tour led by a Native American cultural docent. This special experience highlights the living traditions of California’s Native People—past and present—while connecting visitors to the fascinating Ice Age history of Madera County.

Explore the California Native American Exhibit, take part in a hands-on traditional game-making activity, and discover real Ice Age fossils unearthed right here in the Central Valley—including Columbian mammoths, saber-toothed cats, and more!

Perfect for families, culture lovers, and curious minds of all ages.
