Celebrate the magic of butterflies at the 2026 Mariposa Butterfly Festival, May 2nd & 3rd at the Mariposa County Fairgrounds, for a weekend of fun, education, and entertainment for all ages. 

Experience the spectacular live butterfly release, explore Jurassic Mariposa with animatronic dinosaurs, enjoy two days of live music, a petting zoo, train rides, stilt walkers, jugglers, and silk aerialists! 

Visit Fairy Village for storytime with Miranda the Forest Fairy, take part in the Sunday obstacle course, and learn about butterflies and pollinators in Habitat Row, featuring a 40-foot caterpillar exhibit. 

Don’t miss the Mariposa Butterfly Festival Car Show on Saturday!
