Yosemite Paint & Sip

Watercolor painting workshop with wine and cheese.

Yosemite Sip & Paint

2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Fridays from May 1st to August 28th

at the Mountain Room Lounge at Yosemite Valley Lodge

Guests can join local instructor Zach as he guides them through the fundamentals of watercolor, building confidence with key concepts such as compositional design, managing values, and color theory. Once students are set up for success, the class will move outdoors to spend the remaining time leisurely painting and enjoying the scenery. The goal of the class is for students to relinquish expectations, experience the joy of connecting with the natural world, and create art inspired by it. By the end of the day, participants will have a stronger understanding of watercolors and landscape painting, along with the encouragement and basic skills to continue the practice.
