at the Happy Isles Art and Nature Center in Yosemite Valley
Step into the vibrant world of mosaic art in this friendly, hands-on class led by artist Denise Davidson. Over four inspiring hours, participants explore the creative process—from designing a mosaic to bringing it to life—guided every step of the way. Guests will get to work with a variety of glass and ceramic materials, learning how to thoughtfully arrange and adhere them to a base surface, known as a substrate, to realize their vision.
Once comfortable with the basics, participants select a Yosemite-inspired template and begin crafting their own unique mosaic, drawing inspiration from the park’s natural beauty. By the end of the session, each attendee leaves with a personal work of art—a one-of-a-kind keepsake to remember their creative time in Yosemite.
