Yosemite Mountain Sugar Pine Railroad

Join New York Times bestselling author Chris Epting for an evening of storytelling about Theodore Roosevelt’s landmark trip to Yosemite, the role of John Muir, Abraham Lincoln’s influence on protecting Yosemite, early photography in the park, and the contributions of Black soldiers who patrolled and protected the area. The program takes place at the Yosemite Mountain Sugar Pine Railroad and features a fire pit amphitheater along the scenic train trail, offering a memorable outdoor setting that connects guests with conservation history.
