Volunteer Event: Yosemite Zero Heroes
Volunteer Event: Yosemite Zero Heroes
Thursday, July 2nd; 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Exploration Center in Yosemite Valley
Before the Fourth of July holiday weekend, the National Park Service invites visitors to make a difference during Yosemite Zero Heroes, a special drop-in volunteer event dedicated to protecting and preserving Yosemite.
Guests of all ages are encouraged to join in and help care for the park by collecting litter along roadsides, trails, parking lots, campgrounds, and other public areas throughout Yosemite Valley. Volunteers will be provided with litter sticks and buckets, making it easy for families, friends, and park lovers to get involved. Children ages 5 and older are welcome to participate with their families.
This is a wonderful opportunity to give back, connect with the park, and help ensure that Yosemite remains a clean and beautiful place for everyone to enjoy. No advance registration is required — guests can simply register in person when they arrive.
Volunteers should meet in front of the Exploration Center in Yosemite Village at 10:00 AM and come ready to make a positive impact!
