When you come to the 31st Annual Oakhurst Fall Festival, we hope you get a little taste of what our great mountain community has to offer!” expressed Adam Olivares, Executive Director of the Oakhurst Area Chamber of Commerce. “I can’t wait to see everybody there, and more importantly, I believe that when they leave the festival, they will have no doubt in their mind why people in our mountain community truly love where we live, work, and play!”

The Oakhurst Fall Festival starts with live music as soon as the gates open at 3 PM on Friday with Juli Stamer, followed by Acoustically Speaking at 4 PM.  Marvel at the Roaming Circus Acts that circle the park from 5 – 7 PM.  For the young ones, there will be balloon animals, face painting, games, and carnival rides. Tickets for the rides will be available for purchase separately from the festival admission.  Friday’s musical entertainment is capped off from 7 PM to 9 PM with a mix of high-energy Dixieland and traditional jazz by the always-popular Yosemite Jazz Band!

Of course, the fun doesn’t stop there; live music starts again first thing Saturday at 10 AM with the musical trio of Jim Savarino with Nicole and Terry Hoke, followed by Terry Robinson at 11:30, and then enjoy some traditional Irish tunes from Turf In The Bog, Irish Flute & Mandocello at 1:30 PM.

Make some time on Saturday to head over to our Beer & Wine Tasting Pavilion. Enjoy expertly hand-crafted brews from Oakhurst’s flagship brewery, South Gate Brewing Company, as well as 1850 Brewing Company and delicious hard cider from Sierra Cider from Mariposa. Of course, those who prefer to savor the flavor from some of the best wineries of Madera County can enjoy tastings poured by Idle Hour Winery, Queen’s Inn, Casto Oaks, and more!  Pace yourself and drink responsibly, the Tasting Pavilion is open until 5 PM.

As the fun continues into the second half of the day, the Roaming Circus Acts are back at 3 PM, hanging around for your enjoyment until 8 PM. The musical entertainment resumes with Larry McPhail and Chris Edwards at 4 PM. Save some energy for the evening because Saturday’s live music finishes with The Whiskey Creek Band, bringing Rock, Country, and Rockabilly tunes for your dancing pleasure!

Get some rest and come back for the final day of the Oakhurst Fall Festival on Sunday, October 13th, and visit the rest of our great vendors, rides, and games, all while your ears are tickled by the tunes of Bob & Deena starting at 10 AM, followed by Jason Marshall at 11 AM.  If you didn’t get to taste all the mountain areas being offered, the Beer & Wine Tasting Pavilion is open again on Sunday from 10 AM until 2 PM.  Finishing off this year’s music is The Executive Rockers, with 2 hours of power sounds from Rock and Country that will leave you wanting more as you dance out the gates!
