The Oakhurst Facelift® is back for its third year! Join us on Saturday, October 24, at 8 a.m. at the Visit Yosemite | Madera County Visitor Center, 40343 Highway 41 in Oakhurst, and help keep our gateway community beautiful. For full details and to sign up, visit the event link.
Inspired by the original Yosemite Facelift®, founded by climbing legend Ken Yager in 2004, this volunteer cleanup launched in Oakhurst on October 5, 2024. That first year, more than 56 volunteers cleaned the Oakhurst River Parkway Trail and the nearby Lewis Creek Trail, hauling out nearly a ton (1,800 pounds) of trash just in time for the Oakhurst Fall Festival. Another 700 pounds came out in 2025, bringing the total to 2,500 pounds of trash removed from our community's favorite outdoor spaces. Help us grow that number this year!
