Yosemite Reservations Update
No peak-hour reservations are required for the rest of 2025. Visitors can enter freely without advance day-use permits through all park entrances.
We anticipate the National Park Service will provide updates later this year regarding possible reservation requirements for the Horsetail Fall event in February 2026 and for summer 2026. As soon as announcements are made, we’ll share the details here.
For reference, the reservation details from earlier in 2025 are outlined below. Please note: the system may change once the Park Service makes its upcoming announcements.
How to Get a Reservation:
Peak-hour reservations are NOW BOOKABLE on Recreation.gov.
Don't forget: Additional reservations are released 7 days in advance, also at 8 am.
Each reservation is $2 (non-refundable) and valid for three consecutive days.
You can book two reservations per three-day window.
No computer? Call 877-444-6777 to reserve by phone.

A vacation rental in Wawona, Yosemite West, or Foresta
A wilderness permit or a Half Dome permit
These allow entry anytime, 24/7, for the duration of your stay or for 3 consecutive days (whichever is longer).
Using YARTS or a Tour Group?
