Come experience the magic of Yosemite National Park throughout the seasons. Watch as the park comes alive in Spring with blooming wildflowers and cascading waterfalls and hike to stunning panoramic views at Glacier Point during the Summer. Discover the vibrant crimson and amber hues as the leaves change in the Fall, and schuss down the slopes of Badger Pass or ice skate in Curry Village with Half Dome towering above. No matter when you visit, it's always recommended to "Know Before You Go" - to be informed about and be prepared for the conditions in Yosemite; for the most current information, head over to our What To Know When Visiting Yosemite - Right Now page.
Yosemite is known for many things, but starting in Spring, with melting snow in the Sierra Nevada, it's the waterfalls that rule! As winter recedes and the landscape transforms, vibrant hues emerge and the park's iconic waterfalls, like the mesmerizing Yosemite Falls (the tallest waterfall in North America), roar to life. Experience the awe-inspiring spectacle of Yosemite's cascading waterfalls in spring—a testament to the power and beauty of nature.
Note: Most services inside the park are operational but there some impacts as a result of some on-going projects in the park (e.g. Shuttle stop improvements, hazard tree removal programs, etc...)
See the NPS FAQ page for more information about visiting the park. See the list of concessionaire services.
